Tiny Tigers (Age 4) -- This program is specially designed for younger students with different developmental needs than their older counterparts. These classes are approximately 30 minutes in length two times per week and focus on small and large motor skills development as well as listening skills. Graduates of this program are prepared to enter the Little Tigers Program.
Little Tigers (Age 5 & 6) – This program is specially designed for children ages 5 & 6. It helps to improve children’s focus and listening skills, self-esteem, and gross motor skills. Students learn self-discipline in a fun, structured program that helps build self-control, balance, fitness and flexibility.
We recognize that 5 and 6 year olds have very different developmental needs than their younger counterparts in the Tiny Tigers Program or their older counterparts in the Junior Program. The Little Tigers program bridges that developmental gap and prepares students for the Junior Program.
Junior Program (Age 7 to 11)-- This program focuses on improving not only basic motor skills, listening, and life skills, but challenges the student through the teaching and training of basic techniques, sparring, kata, and self-defense.
Upon completion of this series, the student will earn a Junior Black Belt. It is our sincere belief that our black belts are more physically and mentally skilled than most normal black belts in similar junior training programs. These skills will help them enter society with confidence and other the other life skills we teach will help them succeed in any endeavor.
They will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious and motivated in their daily activities. In addition to learning character attributes such as a positive attitude, responsibility, respect, commitment, courage, discipline, teamwork, integrity, and leadership, children will learn the basic Martial Arts skills that will enhance their future Martial Arts training. This training will also improve their ability to do sports and other activities, much more so than children who do not participate in this type of program. It will allow your child the added benefit of self-esteem and self-confidence and give them an outlet to channel their energy. Basic mental and physical self-defense is also addressed so you can feel good knowing your child will know what to do if approached by a stranger as well as if he/she is bullied on the playground.
Teen Program (Age 12 to 16)
It is more challenging than ever to be a teenager in America. Fear and distractions seem to be at an all-time high, and our media-savvy kids are well aware of it. Our program strives to provide our teens with the self-confidence and focus they need to make it in today’s world. Students engage in a fun activity that is physically rewarding and challenging while in a safe environment with positive role models. Students also develop positive character traits such as perseverance, goal-setting, integrity and discipline. Teens find that our martial arts program is high energy, exciting, and motivating. Students will enjoy the workout as well as the life long friendships that are built exercising and training with people who have similar goals.
Going to college or away from home soon? We can help teach teens how to deal with the day to day challenges they may encounter. We can give teach them how to defend themselves both mentally and physically and give them the skills to avoid confrontations to begin with. Adult Program (Age 17 and Up)
We all face many challenges every day. When we were growing up, we thought life would get so much easier when we became an adult. We came to find out that all that freedom we thought we were getting came with its own set of responsibilities as well. The primary challenge we all face now is this: how do I juggle everything in my life (job, kids, etc.) and still take care of myself?
For a growing number of people, Martial Arts provides the answer. Whether you are interested inphysical fitness, self-defense, or even just an athletic social outlet, Three Tigers Martial is a safe and positive environment, providing a fun activity-driven atmosphere where those with common interests can join together in physically rewarding and mentally challenging activities. To many of our students, the time that they spend in class is an oasis in the middle of their lives where they can focus on themselves without feeling selfish or guilty.
Family Martial Arts - Our family program is designed so that you may train with your children. At 3TMA we have programs designed for kids, teens, adults and families. Our family classes allow children that are 7 years and older to train with their parents. If your children are younger than 7 years old, we can determine in a private lesson if they qualify. Looking to spend some quality time in an activity the whole family can benefit from, then this is the program for you.
Xtreme Martial Arts – Are you looking for something extra fun, exciting and challenging? Then XMA may be the program for you. This combination of martial arts, gymnastics, acrobatics and Hollywood theatrics takes martial arts to the next level and allows students to express their creativity. All classes are done to modern techno music and students learn the newest, coolest Xtreme martial arts moves and choreography. Students must have instructor approval to participate in this program.
Leadership Team: This program is designed to empower top students to take leadership positions within in the school and society. The curriculum focuses on character development and values based leadership training and offers young people a fun way to learn command and responsibility. The students will train in citizenship, service, and leadership and will apply and develop these skills in the teaching environment within the school.
Tai Chi: This ancient Chinese martial arts features slow, graceful and precise body movements that enhance balance and improve health. Benefits include relaxation of muscular tension, improved posture, and stress reduction. It has the added benefit of being one of the most effective martial arts systems in the world when properly taught. |
